sustainability

It is our goal for you to enjoy the expert craftsmanship of our products while also feeling like a responsible citizen of the world. We work hard to identify and measure our areas of greenhouse gas emissions so that we can not only offset those emissions, but work to reduce them; this means a comprehensive assessment of both our direct and indirect emissions.

It is our mission to revive our community, while raising a glass to mother earth. Here's to a future where we can #DrinkSustainably

One person's trash is another person's spirit

We take our sustainability to another level by turning waste and byproducts into our spirits. By upcycling things like whey and using perennial kernza, we not only create dynamic flavor profiles but a process with a minimal impact. For example, our whey results in an 85% reduction in water used during production. Ultimately with filtration of leftover distillate, 3 gallons of water are produced for every gallon of ethanol. But it doesn’t stop there: the leftovers are then transformed into protein rich animal feed.

Our secret to a Carbon Negative product

You’ve heard of ‘carbon neutral’ but what about ‘carbon negative’? Each step of our process — from the packaging to the waste we create during production — is intentional. We have been able to be so intentional that we effectively remove more carbon dioxide from the atmosphere than we emit while creating Revive products. If we can’t eliminate, we offset! These efforts have led us to create a premium spirits brand with a net negative output of carbon dioxide.

GIVING BACK

It’s important for us to not only practice what we preach, but put our money where our mouth is. That’s why for each bottle of Revive sold, we donate 5% to community and environmental causes. From the efforts to save the Boundary Waters in Northern Minnesota to national environmental efforts. Looking to collaborate on a fundraising effort? Contact us - we’d love to help.

The anatomy of a bottle

Not only do our signature teal bottles make beautiful water pitchers or flower vases, but they make an impact before they even get to your home.

  • Perfectly imperfect bottles not only provide a beautiful aesthetic, but embracing those imperfections reduces waste in and of itself. Each bottle is unique due to the use of 100% post consumer glass. The process ultimately results in reducing waste during the manufacturing process by 25%.

  • Our cork is naturally sourced and sustainably harvested from renewable sources. It’s also fully biodegradable in your compost!

  • The seal is plastic-free and made from wood cellulose. Degradation starts at just 2 weeks in soil with the full process complete after 4 months with no trace in the soil or impact on the soil.

  • Each bottle produced is estimated to capture .5lb of CO2.
